Ex-helicopters that become hotels
The first aircraft will be located in California
A California company is converting decommissioned helicopters into luxury motorhomes. The goal is to offer unique, original and adventurous experiences to lovers of glamping, that is glamorous camping, which offers luxury services and all comforts to customers, as if they were staying in a hotel, with swimming pools, room service and gourmet meals. All immersed in breathtaking landscapes and remote places.
The initiative was conceived by Mega Remodeling Solutions. It is a Californian company specializing in the renovation of properties for domestic use. In recent days, it announced on social media the launch of a new project, linked to luxury camping, with a dedicated website called Helicopter Glamping. Reservations should be available from Q1 2024.
The idea involves positioning the first helicopter-resorts in Joshua Tree National Park, California. In some cases they will be integrated into more traditional concrete structures. Looking at the first projects, the aircraft will have minimalist furnishings and luxurious fabrics, equipped with swimming pools, terraces and outdoor lounges for experiential tourism.
