Hundreds of flights cancelled and delayed due to weather conditions
Chaos in the night at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, USA. Numerous connections were canceled and delayed due to bad weather conditions, which affected air traffic in the northern part of the state of Georgia. The balance of inconvenience to date is 240 flights canceled and another 174 rescheduled.
"Sunday's severe weather impacted airline operations throughout the southeastern United States. With inclement weather expected to continue into today, passengers are advised to monitor the operations of their airlines for up-to-date information on the flight status", the Atlanta airport manager said.
