The State-owned Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), specialized in the defense and civil aviation sectors, has partnered with the French company Odysight to equip Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk multipurpose helicopters with aircraft operation monitoring systems. The goal is to guarantee "maximum safety" on board thanks to predictive maintenance mechanisms.

It is a technological system made up of various cameras positioned in different parts of the helicopter. These record the parameters of the rotorcraft in real time, detecting the degradation and early malfunction of the components before they reach critical levels. The device is equipped with a high performance processor, with integrated software, based on artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
