Canaries: firefighting aircraft in action
Hundreds of men, planes and ground vehicles from the fire brigade were involved
A huge fire that broke out on the island of Gran Canaria is spreading more and more dangerously. In action men, aircraft and vehicles on the ground of the fire brigade. The head of the island council of Gran Canaria, Antonio Morales, told reporters that around 100 firefighters and nine aircraft are working to put out the fire that has so far burned around 200 hectares of forest, specifying that no buildings have been damaged.
