Ariane 5 put the biggest worldwide tele-communications satellite into orbit
Kourou, French Guiana - The Thaicom 4 is added to a three Thai-managed satellites network
The fourth Thai Thaicom Ipstar satellite, devoted to tele-communications, was put into geostationary orbit yesterday. It deals with the biggest and heaviest satellite even produced in this class and the task of putting it into orbit was assigned to the Ariane 5G rocket carrier, one of the latest versions of the well known European rocket, which took off from the Kourou Space Base, in French Guiana....
