Russia increases production of drones
UAV among the most used in the war in Ukraine by the armed forces of Moscow
The Russian weapons company Kalashnikov announced that it is opening a specialized division for the production of kamikaze drones today. It is a decision linked to the pragmatic analysis that these weapons are the most used in the war in Ukraine by the armed forces of Moscow, which however today mainly employs remotely piloted aircraft of Western, Israeli and Turkish production.
"Kalashnikov is starting a new production of drones". "The main task of the new division is to produce guided complex armed systems, designed for high-precision destruction of single and group enemy ground targets. In 2024, we will increase several times the number of drones produced in our traditional industry: kamikaze drones and from reconnaissance", explained Alan Lushnikov, the president of Kalashnikov.
