United States: military helicopter crashes
Yet another Apache crash, no casualties this time
A US Army Boeing AH-64E Apache military helicopter crashed during a training exercise in Washington state. The incident, which occurred over the weekend, occurred at the Yakima Training Center in Washington state. The aircraft was part of the US Army's 16th Combat Aviation Brigade fleet. Hello the two people on board, who were injured.
This is the umpteenth incident that sees an American military helicopter as the sad protagonist. So much so that at the beginning of May, after two accidents aboard the AH-64 Apache, the US Army Chief of Staff, James McConville, ordered the suspension of flight operations for all United States Army aircraft.
