Usa: developments on the helicopter crash

Army communicates first rumors of ongoing investigations

A spokesman for the United States Army reported that the crash between two US Army Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopters, which crashed last April 28 in Alaska over 200 miles north of the city of Anchorage, said the accident did not it was caused by weather conditions or visibility problems. These are the first rumors to emerge from the investigations.

The two military aircraft had crashed last week in a rugged and mountainous area, killing three soldiers. There were four people on board and the balance of the plane crash was three victims: Christopher Robert Eramo, aged 39, Kyle McKenna, 28, and Stewart Duane Wayment, 32. The helicopters were performing a return flight after a training mission. The Army grounded Apache aircraft on Friday, April 28, to conduct further investigations following recent fatal plane crashes.
