The eVtol (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) electric flying taxis produced by the US manufacturer Joby Aviation will be put on the market "in mid-2025". The announcement came at the "Mobile World Congress" event in Barcelona, Spain, where South Korean telecom operator Sk Telecom outlined a partnership between the two companies.

"So by 2025, if we can demonstrate that the quality of service is acceptable to the general public with regards to safety as well as security, then the government will allow the operator to expand the area of service, including logistics and tourism as well as medical services", said Ha Min-yong, development manager of SK Telecom.
