The black box of the ATR-72/500 turboprop aircraft (registration 9N-ANC) which crashed yesterday morning in Nepal has been found. The balance of the disaster is of all 72 people death on board: four crewmembers and 68 passengers. The aircraft, en route from Kathmandu to Pokhara, was operated by Yeti Airlines. Meanwhile, the local administration has announced that the hopes of finding survivors are now "zero". Today there is national mourning in the country.

"So far we have recovered 68 bodies and are looking for four more. We pray for a miracle. But the hopes of finding anyone alive are nil", said Tek Bahadur, head of the administrative district of Taksi, where the plane crashed.

Among the victims were 68 passengers and four crewmembers: 37 men, 25 women, three children and three infants. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) announced that the body of a baby a few months old was also recovered. The company said 15 foreigners were on board the aircraft: five Indians, four Russians, two South Koreans, an Australian, an Argentinean, an Irishman and a Frenchman. It does not appear that there were any Italians.
