Meloni Government: the list of ministers

The oath on Saturday 22 October at 10:00 at the Quirinale

The president of Fratelli d'Italia Giorgia Meloni is the first woman in the Italian history to be president of the Council of Ministers. She accepts without reserve the task entrusted to her by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and presents the list of ministers. The oath will take place tomorrow morning at 10:00 at the Quirinale.

This is the list of ministers: the two deputy premieres are the Minister of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility Matteo Salvini and the Head of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani; Gilberto Pichetto Fratin at Environment and Energy Security, to Justice Carlo Nordio, to the Ministry of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti, to the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, to Defense Guido Crosetto, to Enterprises and Made in Italy (formerly Economic Development) Adolfo Urso, to Agriculture and Food Sovereignty (formerly Agricultural Policies) Francesco Lollobrigida, to the Department of Labor and Social Policies Marina Elvira Calderone, to Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara, to the University and Research Anna Maria Bernini, to Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano, to Health Orazio Schillaci, to Tourism Daniela Garnero Santanché.

These are the ministers without portfolio: Luca Ciriani at Relations with Parliament, Roberto Calderoli at Regional and Autonomous Affairs, Sebastiano Musumeci at Ministry of the South and the Sea, to the Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo, Andrea Abodi at Sport and Youth, Eugenia Maria Roccella at Family, birth rate and equal opportunities, Alessandra Locatelli at Disability, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati at Reforms, Raffaele Fitto at European Affairs, Territorial Cohesion and Pnrr. The undersecretary to the presidency of the Council of Ministers is Alfredo Mantovano. In total there are 24 ministries, including 6 entrusted to women.
