Robinson receives two more orders for R-66 Police helicopters

Both aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2022

Robinson Helicopter Company received two more R-66 Police helicopter orders from Florida’s Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) less than a year after the department took delivery of its first R-66 Police helicopter.

Centrally located between Orlando and Tampa, PSCO flies, on average, 1,100 hours each year providing air support for every law enforcement agency in its 2,000 square mile county (pop. 750,000) as well as surrounding counties.

The four-place R-66 Police has a speed of up to 130 kts (241 km) per hour and a useful load of 786 lb (357 kg).

Both aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2022.
