Ukrainian conflict: negotiations confirmed today
A time for diplomacy: peace talks in Belovezhskaya Pushcha in Belarus

The second round of peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will be held today, Wednesday, March 2nd, in Belovezhskaya Pushcha in Belarus, a forested area on the border with Poland. The diplomatic attempt to end the conflict follows the previous talks that took place on February 28th in the Gomel region, also in Belarus.
Confirmation regarding today's appointment comes from the Russian news agency "Tass", according to which the talks will be postponed by a few hours compared to the schedule, but not cancelled. "Official information on the program will arrive shortly", said to journalists a Russian government anonymous source.
Space to diplomacy then, in search of an immediate ceasefire that few analysts believe in. The head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, said that during the first meeting the parties "have examined in detail all the points of the agenda and have found some issues in which they could expect common positions".
