LUFTHANSA CANCELS 900 FLIGHTS DUE TO PILOTS WALKOUT
FRANKFURT, Lufthansa was forced to cancel 900 flights yesterday as pilots went striking. The number represented 83% of scheduled flights. Over 65.000 passengers were stranded. The stoppage would cost the airline about $23 million. Anyway, the carrier said "we think we can resolve our discussions around the negotiating table".
