Rome, Italy - The modified bond will be negotiated at the Exchange from next August 1st 2005

"Alitalia Linee Aeree Italiane SpA specifies that, regarding the modification proposal of the bond loan ’Alitalia 2,9% 2002-2007 convertible’, the modified bonds will be negotiated at the Exchange from next August 1st.
