Republic Airways to purchase planes by US Airways

Washington, USA - The deal provide for the sell-off of 137 slots between NY and Washington too

An agreement worth USD 100m between US Airways and regional airline Republic Airways will transfer 28 Embraer 170 aircraft from the first fleet into the second one. Deal provides also for selling off other assets, 113 slots at "Ronald Reagan" Washington Airport and 24 slots at New York "La Guardia" Airport; the agreement provides a clause saying that US Airways is able then to repurchase the slots....
