USA-China: agreement for elimination of duties

The end of the trade war is approaching

The United States and China have reached an agreement to eliminate "phased" duties. This is an important step forward for the end of the trade war between the two superpowers. The Chinese Trade Ministry spokesman, Gao Feng, said that Beijing and Washington "in the past two weeks have conducted serious and constructive discussions to address the specifications" and have entered into an agreement under which they would like to use the additional tariffs for the coverage, in order to stabilize market expectations and bring benefits to the economies of China, the United States and the world, to consumers and producers".

This is a duty worth about $ 112 billion on goods exported from Beijing. The agreement would be signed during the meeting between US and Chinese presidents at the summit on November 15 in Chile, cancelled due to protest that is setting the Country on fire these days (see AVIONEWS).
