General Manager of Airbus Helicopters in Italy appointed

The assignment follows the recent acquisition of Aersud Elicotteri

Airbus Helicopters has appointed Alexandre Ceccacci as General Manager of its Customer Center in Italy. The designation follows the recent acquisition by the industry of Aersud Elicotteri, historical distributor of Airbus Helicopters in Italy. The company has thus consolidated its presence in an important market that currently has 250 helicopters in service with over 90 Italian customers, with a Customer Center located in Verona and a helicopter maintenance center in Trento, both fully controlled.

Alexandre Ceccacci, for over 20 years with Airbus Helicopters, previously held the position as Head of Support & Services for Latin America, a region where he spent most of his career. His professional career began as commercial and logistics director of the industry in Mexico and then continued at the headquarters in Marignane (France) where he led the area of maintenance operations in Europe, including Italy. Subsequently he took on the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Customer Center of Airbus Helicopters in Chile, a role he held for seven years before returning to the headquarters in France, where he managed the support activities for the fleet of 1,400 Latin American aircraft. French of Italian origin, 48 years old, he graduated from the Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Appliquées in Paris, where he specialized in aeronautical engineering.
