US Airways and America West: more funds availability

Washington, Usa - New investors support the merger

The merger plans between the carriers continue undisturbed thanks to funds put to their disposal by many companies. The last pledge has been received from the Boston-based Wellington Management for USD 150m. Totally available funds amount to USD 500m. At the moment the airlines employ 43,000 people and operate almost 400 aircraft combined. On the merger plan see for details AVIONEWS.
