Washington, USA - The massive recovery of the air traffic brings an excessive petroleum demand

Jet fuel consumption in the USA has risen extensively in the last months, the data confirm an increase of 4,1% (1,64 million barrels per day) in comparison with 2004 and in spite of a petroleum product growth of 1%. Many airlines have chosen to bring their older planes back in order to satisfy the increasing demand of air traffic that after the hijack attacks on September 11, 2001 had dropped. Next...
