Brazil: the "new" Atlantic helicopter carrier arrived in Rio de Janeiro

It is the former HMS "Ocean" purchased for GBP 80 million from the UK

After being dismissed in March 2018 by the Royal Navy the former HMS "Ocean" arrived at the week-end in Brazil, where it will be used by the Brazilian Navy as a helicopter carrier with the name of the PHM "Atlantico".The purchase was completed last February and in return the United Kingdom has obtained GBP 84 million, an important figure for a LPH (Landing Platform Helicopter) very used over the years...
