JAL confirmed orders for the Boeing 787s and the 737s

Tokyo, Japan - A choice aimed to modernize and even extend the Japanese carrier's fleet

Japan Airlines (JAL) confirmed its intention for purchasing the new Boeing medium-long range airliner, the 787 Dreamliner, together with the 737-800. JAL ordered an overall number of 30 Dreamliners and 30 Next-Generation 737s with options also for additional 20 787 planes and 10 737 aircraft. This choice depended in both cases on factors related to reliability and efficiency of the vehicles offered...
