Air Canada to chose Boeing to renew its fleet

Ottawa, Canada - By means of a job order of 32 planes worth USD 6bn

A Boeing statement announced that the airline Air Canada intends to renew its long-range fleet by means of planes produced by the US industry. The carrier would effectuate a job order of 32 planes worth USD 6bn, with options for the purchase of further 64 aircraft. The formalization of the deal is expected by mid-2005. The US industry said that the agreement concerns 36 B-777 and up to 60 B-787 Dreamliner....
