Madrid, Spain - The carrier planned to sell 18,3 percent of the firm to newly created firm Wam Acquisition

Spanish flag carrier, Iberia, expects to gain EUR 600m from the sale of its 18,3 percent stake in travel booking firm Amadeus to newly created firm Wam Acquisition which just in this period is taking over the whole activity of Amadeus after passing EU’s control (see AVIONEWS).
