Wizz Air strikes engine deal with P&W for A-321neo airplanes

Budapest, Hungary - It will equip its 110 aircraft with PurePower Geared Turbofan

Wizz Air Holdings announced that, following a competitive selection process, it has agreed with Pratt & Whitney to equip its 110 A-321neo aircraft with Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower Geared Turbofan engines. Deliveries of the NEOs will start in 2019. The agreement also covers an additional 90 A-321neo aircraft over which the airline has uncommitted purchase rights as well as a number of spare engines....
