LUFTHANSA GOES DOWN BY 3% ON THE STOCK MARKET AND LOOKS TO OTHER CARRIERS
FRANKFURT, GERMANY, After the announcement of 2001 Q1's losses, the German carrier's shares went down, arriving to 20,52 EUR, loosing 3%; the minimum point reached was equal to 5%. According to the carrier's management, the possibility of acquiring stakes in other airlines like the Spanish Spanair, owned almost equally by Scandinavian Air Lines and by Teinver holding, are not excluded.
