Air NZ cuts the base commission

Sydney, Australia - "We must cut the costs in order to remain competitive"

Air New Zealand is the latest airline to cut the base commission that will be reduced from 5 to 1 per cent on all tickets sold in Australia for travel towards New Zeland beginning from next July 1. "It’s what customers have asked for, but it can’t be achieved without looking to save significant costs in all areas of our operation", the carrier unveiled.
