British Airways to increase fuel surcharges

London, United Kingdom - With effect starting from March, 28

British Airways announced it increased fuel surcharges to GBP 16 (USD 30.37) from GBP 10 on long flights and to GBP 6 (USD 11.40) from GBP 4 on short routes. The carrier said in a statement that the measure will interest all its flights starting from March, 28, as a result of continuing record oil prices.
