Jakarta, Indonesia - Ternate’s airport could reopen on Saturday
The Gamalama volcano’s eruption forced Indonesia to close the airport on the island of Ternate (in the Moluccas Sea) on Friday December 19. “We closed the ‘Sultan Baabulah’ this morning as the volcanic ash may pose a risk to planes” said a government spokesperson.
