Question time on the armed guard destined to Italian special envoy in Darfur

Rome, Italy - By Senator Francesco Martone (The Greens-UN) and by Senator Luigi Malabarba (Misto-RC)

Italian Senators Martone and Malabarba asked Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs and of Interior for making clear about the supposed armed guard which accompanies the Italian special envoy in Darfur, Daniela Contini and which would be involved in a shooting occurred last January 13. Italian Government is expected to make clear the relations with Khartoum Government.
