On Tuesday 23 July 2013 in a surprise move Ryanair declared it is available to sell uinconditionally its 6-and-a-half-year-old 29% stake in Aer Lingus to any other EU airline that makes an offer for the legacy airline and obtains acceptances from 50.1% of Aer Lingus shareholders.
