Moscow, Russia - The authorization of the Russian carrier had been revoked in January
On 5th May 2013 the period of revocation of the Air's Operator Certificate imposed to Red Wings airline finished. Rosaviatsiya, the Russian aviation agency, had withdrawn the authorization to the carrier following the airplane accident suffered by the company at Vnukovo Airport on December 29th 2012, which claimed the lives of five people.
