The Turbomeca (Safran) Arriel 2E engine, has been certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The Arriel 2E, with a take-off power of 950 shp, will power the Eurocopter EC-145T2 helicopter. The first engines entry into service is scheduled end of 2013.
