Italian ANSV: accident to C-172 airplane in landing in Sicily

Rome, Italy - The occupants injured; damage to the aircraft

The Italian Air Safety Board (ANSV) has started an inquiry into the accident which occurred last Friday, July 20 to a Cessna C-172RG airplane, code I-CTAA. The plane suffered the collapse of the front undercarriage during the landing at Catania-Fontanarossa, for causes still to be determined. The passengers are safe, but the aircraft was damaged.
