Lufthansa conducts inaugural flight of world's first B-747/8 Intercontinental passenger aircraft
New York, Usa - From Frankfurt to Washington, DC
Today Lufthansa, launch customer for the Boeing 747/8 Intercontinental airplane, initiated commercial service of the new Jumbo jet along the inaugural route of Frankfurt (FRA) to Washington, DC's Dulles International Airport (IAD). Flight LH416 departed Frankfurt at 9:50am and is scheduled to touchdown at Dulles at 12:45pm. The return flight, LH419, is scheduled to depart Washington, DC this evening...
