"Heli Russia": Sikorsky shows its S-92 heavy helicopter

Moscow, Russia - The company is trying to increase its local market share

Sikorsky (the popular firm which produces the Black Hawk) has highlighted its S-92 heavy helicopter at the 2012 edition of the "HeliRussia" exhibition in Moscow. Sikorsky expects to obtain local certification for this aircraft and for the medium S-76D soon. The S-76 programme is currently suffering a four-year delay because of some technical problems, most of all in relation to the Thales avionics...
