NEW TURBOMECA ENGINES FOR EC135 EUROCOPTER

BORDES, FRANCE, Turbomeca announced certification of its new version of Arrius turboshaft engine, the 2B1A1, which will be used for Eurocopter EC-135 helicopter, allowing higher performances recorded in A category operation. With these new engines, the EC-135 will be able to take off in A category with a MTOW of 2835 kg, the maximum allowed by Eurocopter.
