Marine Corps: AH-1Z Super Cobra "Operational"
Washington, USA - Ahead of schedule
The US Naval Air Systems Command has unveiled that Marine Corps has stated the AH-1Z Cobra helicopter has reached the IOC, Initial Operating Capability, status, earlier than schedule last month. This model of aircraft, part of the H-1 Upgrades Program, should replace the AH-1W currently in use: the Marine Corps should "Re-manufacture 131 AH-1W helicopters into AH-1Z aircraft and build 58 new AH-1Zs....
