Vlj Aircraft: Sikorsky is officially Eclipse Aerospace stakeholder

Washington, USA - The main target is relaunching production and deliveries of E-500s

The production of the very light business jets Eclipse E-500s, which belong to the Vlj (Very Light Jet) class, will be restarted possibly within 2012. Sikorsky Aircraft has invested in airframer Eclipse Aerospace which in turn is speeding up the reopening of the production line of E-500s at its headquarters in Albuquerque. "We don't know how long it's going to take. A lot depends on the market....
