The situation at British airports after the snowfalls

London, UK - Most are actually open

As of 9:30am (Tuesday, 7 December) most airports are open and operating normally. However, Scotland and Northern Ireland have borne the brunt of the snow fall and frost over night. Edinburgh Airport is open. Passengers are advised to contact their airline to find out about their flights. (www.edinburghairport.com) Glasgow Airport is open, but staff are working to clear the backlog from yesterday....
