Rome, Italy - After hours of pursuit in the middle of Indian Ocean

Italian Navy frigate "Libeccio" released a Iranian "Dhow" cargo carrying 7 crew, which was seized by suspected Somali pirates. The boat was sighted and approached off Kenyan coast, in the middle of Indian Ocean, with prohibitive sea conditions. The pursuit operations started yesterday and ended today at dawn.
