Franz appointed Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Deutsche Lufthansa AG

Frankfurt, Germany - Effective 1 January 2011

In its meeting yesterday, the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG named the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Christoph Franz, as the successor to Wolfgang Mayrhuber, the current Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
