Tripoli, Libya - Seven institutes help the two carriers with a 10-year loan
A consortium of seven Libyan banks granted a loan of over one billion dollars to the country's two main airlines, Libyan Airlines and Afriqiyah Airways. The funding - managers of the two national carriers explained - will improve the quality of services offered to customers and to acquire new aircraft. The loan must be repaid after an initial suspension of 12 months, within the next ten years.
