CONTINENTAL REPORTS FIRST QUARTER EARNINGS
USA, Continental earned $9 million in the three months ended march 31, down from $14 in the same period of 2000. Revenue reached $2,45 billion, with a 7,6% increase in the year-ago period. Pre-tax profit dropped 17.4%.
