Athens, Greece - With 3,17 million passengers and 44,6 thousand flights
First quarter traffic was positive for Athens International Airport (AIA), with 3.17 million passengers and 44.6 thousand flights, an increase of 10.4% and 5.2%, respectively. This development placed the airport in the 1st position amongst major European airports in terms of aircraft movements (European average at -2.6%) and in the 2nd position as regards passenger traffic (European average at +3%)....
