Italian antitrust approval for AgustaWestland's acquisition of PZL-Swidnik

Rome, Italy - Finmeccanica's subsidiary will hold a 94% share in the Polish manufacturer

AgustaWestland (Finmeccanica) has been granted anti-trust authorization to complete the acquisition of about 87.62% share in the Polish helicopter manufacturer PZL-Swidnik. The deal had been signed in August (see AVIONEWS). As AgustaWestland already owns (directly or indirectly) about 6% of PZL's equity, following this operation the purchaser will control about 94% of the Polish company's capital....
