Dubai, United Arab Emirates - To power 12 Airbus A-350 due for delivery in 2017

Ethiopian Airlines has ordered Rolls-Royce's Trent XWB engines worth US$480 million, taking sales of the Trent XWB past 1,000. The engines, the first Trent purchase by the airline, will power 12 Airbus A-350 XWB aircraft, with entry into service beginning in 2017.
