Alitalia: flight assistants to go on strike in January

Rome, Italy - After achieving a deal with the trade unions for the new contract of pilots, the carrier does not gain the same support by hostess and steward

Alitalia and the Italian trade unions achieved an agreement yesterday on the new contract for pilots that will be implemented starting on January 1st. Such deal regards the increase of productivity aimed to encourage the reorganization and the relaunch of the company, an agreement considered as important by UIL Trasporti union as it sees such solution as a warranty for the carrier's competitiveness....
