SAS, traffic down 17.7%

Stockholm, Sweden - In September 2009

Sas-Scandinavian Airlines System issued today its operational results for September 2009, reporting 17.7% slump in traffic compared to September 2008. The overall load factor was 70.6%, same as last year, after a 17.7% cut in capacity. Carried passengers have been 2.2 million, 14.7% less than in 2008. This development, the airline explained, will have a negative impact on the 4th quarter result....
