British Airways axes 1,700 jobs
London, UK - Trade unions threat industrial actions

The airline British Airways has stated yesterday that it is going to reduce its workforce of the equivalent of 1,700 jobs, through voluntary redundancy and switch to part-time work, and that it is also planning to block for two years cabin crews' basic salaries.
